Spring is in the air, and so are we!

We’re setting our ‘Official Opening Date’ for Saturday, April 17^th. Of course, all depends on the weather, but that’s when we will start scheduling for.

SIV Clinics May 11^th-16^th

There was quite of bit of interest so we made some calls and were able to get Brad and Stu up for 2 SIV clinics in May, the first is Tuesday 11^th to Thursday 13^th and the second is Friday 14^th to Sunday the 16^th.  They will be held at Lake Entiat, about 25 minutes east of the ranch. Cost is $750, same as last year.  If you are interested let us know soon!

New Ozone Intermediate wings: Swift and Delta

The Swift was released at the end of last season and has received fantastic reviews. It is a light weight intermediate LTF1-2, with exceptional performance and handling. The Swift is the result of cutting edge research on materials and design, which we will be seeing in subsequent wings.

We have high expectation for the new Delta. It is in the final stages of design and should go to testing soon. It will be an LTF-2 replacing the Addict 2. It is rumored to have unmatched performance in it’s category, making it an excellent choice for a cross country wing.

In July 2010 we will be hosting 2 paragliding competitions at Chelan, the Chelan XC Open and a Paragliding World Cup (PWC). The Chelan XC Open is an USHPA sanctioned cross-country competition and is the first of a 2 part US Nationals, and will be July 10-15th. The PWC is July 17-24th, and is a world level competition. Both events will have positions for wind technicians, retrieve drivers, and many others, that will offer a chance to fly with and observe top-level pilots from around the world. This is only the second PWC held in the US, so this is an historic event. Hosting a PWC requires us to find sponsorship money, so if you would like to make a donation or help raise funds it would be greatly appreciated.  Please let us know if you would like to help with either event, we'll do our best to make it fun and rewarding for you, and we can't do it without your help! Check out the competition website here: www.chelanxcopen.com

Upcoming XC Clinics 

Doug and Stefan are in the process of organizing XC clinics for the season, look for those dates to be posted in the next month or so.
