Tandem Flights

Aerial Paragliding offers tandem instructional flights as part of our training. A typical tandem flight will consist of a ride up to launch, a short briefing on how a paraglider works, a safety check, and then a short run off of the hill with your tandem pilot. Voile’ you are airborne! Tandem instructional flights are offered primarily at Tiger Mountain and Chelan Butte. We will fly you from other sites on a special basis. Instructional flights are offered for $175 per for one person and $325 for two persons, not including shuttles to launch.

We welcome all ages and can accommodate most anyone that wants to fly. All you need to be able to do is a short powerful run to help get you into the air. Landings are a simple touchdown and perhaps a short run onto the landing zone.

As in all paragliding activities it is a weather dependent sport. We use the utmost in judgment and have an extensive background in all kinds of tandem flying. If the conditions warrant unsafe flying conditions we will reschedule for another better flying day.

What to bring/wear. Generally, we wear lightweight hiking shoes. It can get chilly most of the time up high in the Northwest so we wear long pants and a windbreaker for the flight. Lightweight gloves, a camera, sunglasses, and some water are all good things to bring along also. You will be able to snap photos or video while we are in the air.
